All User Roles

Overview

The All Roles page displays all configured user roles in the system. It provides an Advanced Search panel for filtering, and a User Roles table showing each role's name, position, description, status, and available actions.

Navigate to: Administration > User Management > User Roles > All Roles

Filter Field Type Description
Role Name Text Search by the name of the user role
Status Dropdown Filter by status: Active or Inactive. Default is Active

!!! tip "Search & Reset" - Click the 🔍 Search button (teal) to apply the filters - Click the ↺ Reset button to clear all filters and reload the full list


User Roles Table

Column Description
SL NO Serial number / row index
Company Name The company this role is associated with (if applicable)
Name The role name (e.g. National Auditor, System Admin, Auditor Role)
User Position The EMS position mapped to this role (e.g. National Auditor, President)
Description A brief description of the role's purpose
Status Current status badge — Active (teal) or Inactive (grey)
Action ✏️ Edit — opens the role for editing / 🗑️ Delete — removes the role

!!! info "Pagination" The roles list is paginated. Use the ‹ › navigation arrows or click a page number at the bottom to move between pages.


Actions

➕ Add New Role

Click the + button on the top-right of the User Roles header bar to navigate to the New Role form.

✏️ Edit a Role

Click the pencil (✏️) icon in the Action column of any row to open that role's record for editing, including its permissions.

🗑️ Delete a Role

Click the trash (🗑️) icon in the Action column to delete the role.

!!! warning "Deleting a Role" Deleting a role that is currently assigned to one or more users will affect their access. Ensure no active users are assigned to the role before deleting it.


Step-by-Step: How to Search for a Role

  1. Go to Administration → User Management → User Roles → All Roles
  2. In the Advanced Search panel, enter a Role Name or select a Status
  3. Click the 🔍 Search button
  4. The table updates to show matching results
  5. To clear filters and view all roles, click the ↺ Reset button
